The Safegard V3 represents a new generation of smoke/fire
damper control systems based on the LonWorks® protocol. This
system has been designed with the user in mind, providing an advanced
tool that simplifies installation and commissioning of smoke/fire
damper actuators and peripheral devices. The graphical user interface
(GUI) operates on a Windows® platform
making it universally acceptable.
Safegard were responsible for defining the LonWorks® standards
for smoke/fire dampers and they have been adopted as the worldwide
standard known as LonMark®.
