We have a new position available within the Technical Services Team at Safegard, working as a Technical Service Coordinator. This role will report to Daniel Devanney the Technical Services Manager.

Position Summary

You will be working as part of a team coordinating the supply & delivery of our control system products throughout Ireland, UK and Europe. Working closely with our other Business Units within Swegon, you will be responsible for managing the logistics of individual projects from receipt of order to delivery of goods to site and arranging engineers to attend site to complete commissioning works.

You shall also need to assist with technical queries on the products we supply as they arise, with the support of the Technical Services team. You will need to assist clients over the phone & email and be PC literate with all MS Office programs especially Excel, Word, Outlook & Access which will all be used daily.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinate projects in Ireland, UK & Europe from receipt of order to commissioning

  • Liaise with other Swegon Business Units to plan & coordinate site deliveries across Ireland, UK & Europe within the required project timescales

  • Liaising with clients in Ireland to plan & coordinate site deliveries, commissioning visits and issuing engineer reports & commissioning certificates for projects also based in Ireland

  • Monitor agreed service levels as specified with individual clients

  • Ensure monthly invoicing is correct relative to contract documentation and is issued in a timely manner

  • First Line technical product support

  • Understanding of control system & schematic drawings Compiling risk assessments and method statements Inputting all details into the in-house data system for traceability

Experience

Essential:

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Experience of dealing with customers

Desirable:

  • Experience of coordinating contractors / subcontractors highly desirable

  • Construction industry experience / background an advantage

  • Familiar with compiling risk assessments and method statements

  • Proven experience working in customer service and /or client facing roles
